For more than 20 years, Michael has been creating these whimsical ceramic faces and critters. The squints are built with unglazed clay and an oxide wash and high fired.

Sculpted by hand from white stoneware without molds, his fingerprints often are visible. Each squint sculpture is one of a kind. These lend themselves to being hung in "conversations" with two or more joining in.
